The " Friends of Henderson CSI" was established in Henderson, Nevada in 2005. The primary purpose of the organization is to
raise funds to build, equip and support a state-of-the-art Forensic Science
Center (crime lab, and in the future, an educational research and training institute) to be operated in southern Nevada.
The facility will be only the second forensic laboratory (typically called crime laboratory) in the region and will play a critical
role in the overall safety and security of the entire Las Vegas Valley and
southern Nevada.
The Center’s resources will be used to assist multiple public agencies in southern Nevada to every extent possible.
