LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – The Friends of Henderson CSI (FHCSI) is sponsoring a CSI forum on Saturday, August 5, 2006. CBS TV's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actors David Berman and Jon Wellner will share some of their experiences with the original series that is about to begin its 7th season.
The event is scheduled from 12 noon until 2 pm in UNLV’s Flora Dungan Humanities (FDH) building, room 109. It is free to the public, however seating is limited. Those wishing to attend must contact UNLV at

Berman has played the character of Assistant Coroner David Phillips in 100 episodes of the award-winning series. He is also currently filming in the Fox TV series "Vanished".
Wellner (who plays Toxicologist Henry Andrews) recently filmed his tenth episode. Wellner’s acting roles include Navy NCIS, Becker, Yes Dear, Judging Amy, and many others. He played the role of Gilligan in the 2001 CBS television movie “Surviving Gilligan’s Island”.
Berman and Wellner, who are also the researchers for the series, will explain how CBS attempts to make the world-acclaimed show as realistic as possible for an entertaining TV series.
They will be joined by Rick Workman, who serves as one of numerous technical advisors for the series. Workman, Chairman of FHCSI, a former Crime Scene Investigator, and the current Criminalistics Administrator for the Henderson Police Department, will help answer questions about the impact of the CSI shows.
